The latest release from the Australian Capital Territory government has asked local parents for their feedback on the public education system, giving residents of Belconnen real estate the opportunity to have their say about their children's future.
Minister for education and training Joy Burch said parental engagement was an essential part of helping figure out the direction needed for schooling in the future.
"Understanding what families think about their schools and why they choose one school over another is vital to understanding what works and what needs to improve," said Ms Burch in a 14 November statement.
"Among other things, this survey asks parents and carers what is important to them when choosing a school for their child, which type of school do parents recommend to other families, and how well do our schools communicate with parents."
Because education is such an important part of a child's development, ensuring the state is providing everything necessary to help young people reach their fullest potential is essential. You have until 28 November to cast your opinion.
