Ray White Belconnen have renewed their major sponsorship agreement with the regions top Arts precinct, the Belconnen Arts Centre.
The partnership is now entering it’s third year, and is an important part of Ray White Belconnen’s support for grass roots organisations in the local community. The sponsorship includes funding of the annual Ray White Belconnen College Art prize, subsidising school holiday art programs for local children, and the ongoing use of the lakeside facilities for the monthly in-room Auctions of the North Canberra business.
Speaking at a recent gathering of community partners, Ray White Belconnen General Manager Sam Faulks had this to say:
“We are a local, family owned business and what drew us to supporting the Belconnen Arts Centre was the community initiatives they undertake and providing a way for us to get further involved in the local Belconnen community. We are excited by the plans to expand the Belconnen Arts Centre to provide the North Canberra region with a cultural and artistic hub for the community to enjoy and believe it will greatly benefit the Belconnen region for many years to come.”
Belconnen Arts Centre CEO Daniel Ballantyne was glowing in his appreciate for the ‘passionate and thoughtful contribution’, which has helped secure over 30 other local community advocates and partners, noting that Ray White Belconnen had made a ‘valuable contribution to Belconnen’s creative heart’.
