Ray White Belconnen Principal, Ben Faulks, recently sung the praises of the China Desk service, which he says is a powerful tool in his marketing that helped convert a lead for his loan market broker.

“A Chinese buyer, who spoke very little English, came into our new office last Friday looking to purchase something. While we didn’t have anything to sell them, it turns out the buyer didn’t yet have finance approved so we introduced him to Chloe De Clifford, our Loan Market broker,” Ben said.

“We had kept the China Desk top of mind for everyone at our sales meetings however (which our brokers attend) and Chloe had the smarts to ask me whether she could use the China desk as well.”

“The client was about to get himself in what I felt was a very risky position as he was about to make an offer on a property but didn’t have his finance approved. The client didn’t understand the finance applications he was required to complete, or how the FIRB process worked. I was able to talk with Sen at the Ray White China Desk who talked him through the process, and even helped him complete the paperwork over the phone in his own language.
