The Australian Capital Territory government has released a new $21million training initiative to help boost employment across the territory, which could be great news for buyers interested in securing Belconnen real estate.
Minister for education and training Joy Burch said the Skilled Capital program will provide opportunities to upskill and access higher levels of training with ease, to allow residents in Canberra to streamline their future growth.
"Canberra needs more workers in areas such as early childhood care, disability support services, education support, aged care, and information technology. Skilled Capital will give students the support they need to complete the training that is right for them," said Ms Burch in a 17 December statement.
The program will allow people access to various programmes that can aid their development in the long run. Furthermore, a huge range of support systems will be put in place to help anyone struggling to stay on track and reach their goals.
