Moving on: How tenancies in the ACT may come to an end

If you're an owner of Belconnen real estate and feel like revamping your property, now could be a great time to look into starting. A recent release from the Housing Industry Association (HIA) has highlighted the increasing strength of the nation's renovation market, offering the chance for property owners to turn their house into the home they've always desired.
After the renovation market saw significant declines during the global financial crisis, HIA Senior Economist Shane Garrett remarked that these figures are beginning to return to form.
"Latest indications suggest that the market is starting to turn for the better, with renovators modestly optimistic for the year ahead. Activity is benefiting from a prolonged period of very low interest rates and growth in home prices over the past eighteen months," said Mr Garrett in an 18 December statement.
He went on to say this growth was anticipated to last well into the coming years, with a projected 10 per cent increase in renovation activity by 2018. As the market continues to rise, taking advantage of these movements could be a great way to help boost the value of your home, helping you to stay on top of a developing market.
