Keeping you and your family entertained during the winter weekends can be a difficult task. After all, the potential for horrid weather can make planning outings a challenging prospect. However, next weekend (28 June), the Belconnen Arts Centre (BAC) will be hosting the annual Mid Winter Markets – and this year is expected to be bigger and better than ever.
A whole range of stall holders and artists from across the region will be in attendance, presenting their own unique, environmentally-sustainable pieces of art for your viewing pleasure. With musicians performing throughout the day, servings of mulled wine on hand and a wide range of different stalls to peruse and partake in, there's bound to be something for everyone!
Across the stalls you'll find a treasure trove of goodies. Things like unique and one-off garments to keep you warm and wrapped up during the cool Australian winter, kooky owls, hand-printed cards, handmade tableware and decorative ceramics, recycled vintage button brooches, hand knitted garments and blankets and more.
All the products have been created with sustainability and environmental awareness at heart. This could be a wonderful way to spend a day next weekend for residents of Belconnen real estate – don't miss out on the BAC's Mid Winter Markets!
