Driven by changing demographics in the real estate industry across the nation, Ray White Canberra has created a Rookie of the Year award, recently announced at their Canberra awards night.
Kunal Kumar, 21, was the inaugural recipient of the award following his first full year with the team at Ray White Belconnen.
Prior to joining Australasia’s largest real estate group Kunal worked at a discount agency, where he developed strong negotiation skills and a love of working with buyers. Since joining Ray White Belconnen Kunal has honed these skills to a fine art, and currently works in tandem with Principal Ben Faulks as a Buyer Specialist.
“I have always felt like buyers were poorly treated by real estate agents, and it’s been great that Ray White Belconnen have been able to provide me with the opportunity to up our level of service in helping buyers find the right home” said Kumar.
“There’s nothing better than introducing a buyer to a property that I think is perfect for them when they hadn’t previously considered the home”
Ray White Belconnen Principal Ben Faulks:
“Kunal has been a revelation since joining us 18 months ago. He sells properties to buyers that they never would have previously considered, and has achieved great results for his sellers. He’s also a great team player, and we’re very proud to have him as a part of our team.”
Kumar was born in India before relocating to Australia with his family at the age of 10. He speaks fluent Hindi, and in January completed his first client presentation in Hindi.
