Moving on: How tenancies in the ACT may come to an end
For whatever reason, you may find yourself needing to end a tenancy agreement. Here’s a look at the proper process for ending tenancies in the ACT.
Public transport infrastructure has fast become one of the most important aspects of a developing city's growth, with many people taking these systems into account when considering property in the area. If you're interested in buying Belconnen real estate, the future of Canberra's public transport developments can be seen in a new exhibition being set up by the Australian Capital Territory government.
Minister for capital metro Simon Corbell said the new Travel Light exhibition would highlight the benefits and transformative effects that well-planned public transport infrastructure can have on a region's growth.
"As we know, transport is an important challenge for all cities and Canberra is no different. With the recent government decision to progress with the light rail stage one from City to Gungahlin, it's important to engage with the community on the positive changes light rail can bring to our nation's capital. Travel Light provides a perfect avenue for this," said Mr Corbell in a 25 September statement.
The exhibition will also showcase design proposals for the system, giving viewers and insight into the potential outcomes of the infrastructure development in the Australian Capital Territory capital.
