Moving on: How tenancies in the ACT may come to an end
For whatever reason, you may find yourself needing to end a tenancy agreement. Here’s a look at the proper process for ending tenancies in the ACT.
A new park and ride facility in Gungahlin could be great news for residents of Gungahlin real estate, allowing people to commute easier in the future. The $350,000 facility offers parking for vehicles close to public transportation facilities – giving people the option to commute in the central business district for work.
Minister for territory and municipal services Shane Rattenbury said the new facility provides 345 parking spaces for the local community near bus stops on Valley Avenue and Hibberson Street, as well as future light rail stations.
"This new facility will allow Gungahlin residents to combine vehicle use with bus travel to give patrons a quick and hassle free trip to Canberra's busy town centres while saving them money and the stress of finding a car park in town. It is also been located a short walk from the future light rail network," said Mr Rattenbury in an 18 August statement.
With an increasing emphasis on sustainable living, pushing for public transport use in the near future could be a wonderful opportunity for local residents to embrace a cleaner, greener mode of transport for their daily work commute.
