Moving on: How tenancies in the ACT may come to an end
For whatever reason, you may find yourself needing to end a tenancy agreement. Here’s a look at the proper process for ending tenancies in the ACT.
Earlier this week, Canberra's minister for territory and municipal services Shane Rattenbury launched a website to help residents living in Belconnen real estate find local outdoor fitness opportunities and to connect with others to share their experiences.
The 'Find Fitness Outdoors' website connects people with outdoor facilities, as well as allowing them to map out an exercise routine.
The website also makes available short instructional videos to ensure people use the equipment correctly in order to avoid injuries. These videos are hosted by health and fitness guru Lee Campbell and HerCanberra editor Amanda Whitley.
"We want to see more people using the great outdoor fitness facilities available and hope this new website encourages more Canberrans to lead active lifestyles while also creating a great opportunity for people to enjoy the outdoors," said Mr Rattenbury in a 23 March statement.
Mr Rattenbury encouraged people to share their exercises on Twitter and Facebook with videos and photos, as well using the hashtag #CBRoutdoors. The posts that gain the most attention will be in to win free personal trainer sessions – so get out and about to start working towards this!
