Moving on: How tenancies in the ACT may come to an end
For whatever reason, you may find yourself needing to end a tenancy agreement. Here’s a look at the proper process for ending tenancies in the ACT.
At their first Auction night for 2013, held on Thursday 7th February at Belconnen Arts Centre, the team from Ray White Belconnen sold 3 from 7 properties under the hammer.
Properties in Higgins, Evatt & Macquarie were hotly contested, with each attracting multiple bidders and selling above sellers expectations. Bids were also fielded on two of the other 4 properties, and Ray White Belconnen Auctioneer Scott Jackson said they expect those two properties to sell in the next 7 days.
“It is great to see some momentum returning to the marketplace, particularly in the Belconnen region” said Jackson, who maintained a frenetic pace in front of a crowd of over 60 onlookers.
“The market for house sales below $500,000 in Belconnen and Gungahlin is receiving particularly good enquiry levels at present and the New Year has seen an increase in general confidence from buyers in coming forward to make offers”
The Auction marked the second collaboration in the community partnership between Ray White Belconnen & the Belconnen Arts Centre.
The next Auctions will be held on Thursday, 14th March at 6pm, for more information please contact Ray White Belconnen on 6173 6300.
