At their fortnightly Auctions held at the Belconnen Arts Centre, the team from Ray White Belconnen sold 4/4 plus one property was sold prior for a 100% clearance rate.
The bidding was frenzied on a property in Evatt at 36 Carlile Street, where Auctioneer Scott Jackson took an opening bid of $550,000. The next bid was $650,000 and the property was on the market – ultimately selling for $705,000 to one of 11 registered bidders for the property.
“We were blown away by the eventual sale price and the owners were delighted” said Ray White Belconnen Evatt specialist Liam Wilson, “the interest throughout the campaign was huge with over 100 inspections, and full credit to the seller’s who presented the property beautifully”.
The other four properties were all located in Macgregor, and were sold by Macgregor expert, Ben Owen:
According to Mr Owen all properties had received multiple offers prior to Auction, and all sold for above expectations.
“Buyer inspection numbers have been strong in Macgregor and across Belconnen over the past two months” said Mr Owen, “buyers seem keen to engage, and we are starting to see some fear of missing out emerge which is creating competition on a lot of properties”
“In particular, buyers are realising that property for sale in Macgregor offers a great mix of access to services, affordability and the ability to interact with nature whether it be through the local walking trails, or the stunning Western sunsets.”
