Moving on: How tenancies in the ACT may come to an end
For whatever reason, you may find yourself needing to end a tenancy agreement. Here’s a look at the proper process for ending tenancies in the ACT.
The rejuvenation of Constitution Avenue in Canberra will provide the citizens of the region with a major public transport overhaul, as well as landscape improvements to help make the area as comforting and inviting as possible. This could be great news for residents of Belconnen real estate in the near future.
Minister for Territory and Municipal Services Shane Rattenbury and Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Jamie Briggs announced the plans last week (April 16), stating the construction project for Constitution Avenue would begin to create a great public space for Canberrans.
"The upgrade supports the Australian Capital Territory government's commitment to urban renewal and will help deliver a vibrant, well designed public open space and a sustainable and integrated transport network through the city," said Mr Rattenbury in an April 16 statement.
With the aim of changing the space from a private transport corridor to a shared, open and public space, dedicated bus and bike lanes will become a top priority for the project. Furthermore, wider pedestrian lanes will further help promote the development of a sustainable transport initiative in the region.
This could be a great change for the growth of Canberra and indicate an exciting time to live in Belconnen apartments or detached homes.
