On Thursday night the team at Ray White Belconnen took 7 properties to Auction at the Belconnen Arts Centre, selling 5 with 2 passed in. 4 of the 5 properties that were sold are located in Belconnen, evidence of the increasing level of buyer enquiry in the region.
However for Sales Consultant Liam Wilson there was added pressure on the night, as he took his grandmother’s property to Auction. The 4 bedroom home located at Healy Street, Spence had been in the family for over 30 years, and achieving a result on Auction night was particularly pleasing for Wilson:
“Nan certainly made me work for it!” he said “But at the end of the day I was very happy to help her and the family with what has been an emotional move.”
Having recently been recognised as the Top Auction Office at the Ray White awards held at the Westin Hotel in Sydney, Ray White Belconnen Auctioneer Scott Jackson was glowing in his praise for his team:
“We have a real passion for the Auction process when it comes to selling houses, and that is has been further demonstrated with tonight’s results” said Jackson.
“We firmly believe that Auction offers many of our vendors the best possible chance to obtain a premium price, particularly in a market that has been softer over the last 12 months” said Ray White Belconnen Director, Sam Faulks.
