Born and raised in Belconnen, Ben Faulks is a third generation Canberran, with his grandparents being amongst the first few residents of Belconnen back in the late 1960’s.
Ben is extremely proud of the Ray White Belconnen business that he established from scratch in 2010 in partnership with Scott Jackson and his brother Sam Faulks. As a result of their focus on building relationships for the long-term rather than focussing on individual transactions, Ben has received many awards during his real estate career. These include Number 1 Agent Ray White Canberra (2012, 2014), Number 1 Principal Ray White Regional (2014), Number 6 (2013), Number 8 (2012) and Top 100 Real Estate Agent in Australia (2012).
Ben has a sixth sense for putting a deal together and is a skilled negotiator – particularly on the Auction floor. Take a minute to discuss his approach to live negotiation and you will appreciate the extra value that Ben brings to the experience of every one of his clients. Since entering the real estate industry he has maintained an average days on market of 42 days from advertising to exchange, which he puts down to the hard work of him and his team, their systems and procedures.
Aside from his love of selling, Ben is also a mentor to his Sales team and is passionate about helping young people develop their careers in the real estate industry. Ben is also a respected speaker at Real Estate conferences, where he shares his systems and approaches to help real estate agents grow their businesses whilst also putting people at the core of everything that they do.
Away from the office Ben can be found at most Brumbies games and is a long-term sponsor and past player and coach of the Gungahlin Eagles Rugby Club. He has previously served on the board of Daramalan College and supports a number of other community causes in the local area. Ben spends the majority of his time away from work with his family, which includes his wife Kylie, daughters Addison and Milla (born sleeping in 2013), Rosie the Bull Mastiff and the family all report to their cat, Boots.
